Drunken Hypnosis . . .
. . . Magick Finger Time!
Here we go! Just for fun . . . I demonstrate the power of the mind with some playful "drunken magick finger" suggestions via an instant hypnosis induction with a trance partner who is a very very good sport. The video was made 20 May 2008.
The suggestion is a variation of the "drunk" suggestibility effect, albeit here I combine it with a hand drop induction and roll right into the bit. While this gag is great for entertainment or recreational hypnosis, it can also be easily adapted for hypnotherapy. The classic drug of choice induction is based upon the premise that one way to help folks kick the habit for drugs or alcohol is to show them that they can have similar feelings all on their own without them. The hypnotic recreation of pain drugs such as morphine has been used very effectively in studies related to brain chemistry and surgical survival enhancement. So, while here it seems like a frivolous little entertainment - and it is - this sort of experiential process can have far more serious benefit as well.
All the best,
